This route offers something for everyone—whether you’re an average rider looking for a scenic ride or a hard-core cyclist chasing a solid training session. With mostly flat terrain, it’s smooth sailing until you reach the T-junction.

• For a shorter ride, turn left and loop back.

• For a longer challenge, turn right toward the Dam Route. Half a kilometre further, take a left and follow the road to Pietersfontein Dam.

There’s a compulsory portage at the dam—leave your bike behind and climb the steps on either side to soak in the breathtaking Langeberg views. Don’t forget to count the steps!
